How To: Disable Protected View in Office 2019

Some users have experienced errors when opening downloaded files in Office 2019. These errors are due to a Microsoft bug with Protected View. These steps can be used to turn off Protected View so files will open normally.
REMEMBER: Only open files that you expect to receive from trusted sources. If an email comes as a surprise, call the sender to check if it was from them.
File -> Options
Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings
Protected View -> Uncheck all 3 boxes.
